The milk and Butter in a saucepan and heat to lukewarm. Flour, eggs, both sugar and lemon juice in a bowl. In the flour with a spoon, make a depression and the warm (Butter-)milk pour. Crumble in the beer yeast and mix everything to a smooth dough. Most recently, the Apple coarsely grate and add to the dough.

In a warm place for about 30 minutes covered.

Tablespoon frying in a grease coated frying pan from both sides.

Serve dusted with icing sugar. I serve this sugared Creme fraiche and plum jam.

The cakes are very filling. You can taste the cold very well, for example, as a Snack for school/work.
If you don’t like it as sweet, or the cake, for example would like to serve with vanilla sauce, may reduce the amount of sugar. For us, it fits so precisely.
