Banana bread without the extra fat and sugar


banana(n) very Mature, the darker the better, about 300 g
200 g whole grain flour,I’ll take whole wheat flour, or rye flour, white flour, Spelt flour..
  cinnamon, I take 1 TSP full
100 g Apple, grated or applesauce with no sugar
1 Pck. baking powder
50 g walnuts, chopped, alternatively, almonds, hazelnuts…

The Apple peel, remove seeds and grate finely (alternatively you can also use applesauce, no sugar was added), the mash the banana well. Now with the two eggs until fluffy. Flour, baking powder and cinnamon mix, the banana-Apple-Egg-mash and short, but good mix. Finally, add the chopped walnuts and cook all in a box shape, fill, the larger the shape, the flatter the bread. Now, at 180°C for about 45 minutes to bake (toothpick test!).

The bread goes in the oven for a good high, but when it cools down a bit (such as cheesecake). The dough will remain rather “schlonzig”, i.e. more compact than, for example, cake batter. Before the Incision was very cool!

So baked for 12 pieces of approx. 127 kcal. The whole bread has approximately 1524 kcal.

In a can, the bread keeps for about a week and tastes pulled through, in my opinion, even better than fresh. Also Freezing works very well.
For those who like it warm, you can give the slices before eating simply again briefly in the microwave.

You can customize the dough in a Springform pan or in a muffin tin to bake (baking times may slightly) and as a cake, if the dough is not sweet enough, you can help out, for example with honey or syrup.
Also, the bread is cooled, as desired, for example, with chocolate coating, then it has even more cake character.
Chocolate pieces in the dough, fit very well, however, it is of course less healthy.

Who bakes better with fat, the Apple, which replaced the fat, by 60 ml of Oil or 80 g of Butter replaced.

Due to its composition, the bread is great as a birthday cake for small children or as a Snack on-the-go, there’s no extra fat and no extra sugar in the dough and the bread is very nutritious, but also delicious.

I bake it is usually according to the recipe, and eat it lukewarm with a thin layer of chocolate cream.
